I've found (and re-cached) my first Travel Bug the weekend - and coincendetly it was a model car (aka 'hitchhiker') as well! :chuckle:

When I went on Saturday to check HWCZA002, THIS  was inside...

What is a Travel Bug??

Quote:
A Travel Bug is a registered trademark of Groundspeak, Inc. used to describe a dog tag used in Geocaching. It is moved from cache to cache, with a unique tracking number allowing its movements to be tracked online (www.geocaching.com). Some tags are fastened to an object, known as a hitchhiker, before they are released into a cache.

A fellow P&P shopper told me about Geocaching and how it works .I saw him this morning and he told me about the Landy he had tapped to a Landy (?) and it was found in George . His name is Serious Landrover and he said you must move the Cache . This could be a way to hide some real hard to find HW .

Yes, that is the whole idea of a travel bug. I have re-cached it the next day.
